Description

Sublimation Inks are designed to apply a mirror image onto paper for transfer to the final substrate. The prints are transferred via heat and pressure onto polyester or other synthetic materials. Suitable fabrics also include those made with natural fibres that contain at least 65% synthetic materials. Sublimation inks produce transfers that offer good resistance to the effects of light, perspiration, and laundering. When first printed onto paper, sublimation inks appear to be weaker and duller than standard inks, however when transferred onto suitable substrates, the dyes develop their true color strength and brilliance. Sublimation inks may also be transferred to metal, wood or ceramic and many other materials where a sublimation suitable coating has been applied.
